For about a month I have been taking odd pictures of sewing projects I have a burning need to complete.. You see I have this good intention which never quite reaches its goal. I want to finish some sewing projects otherwise one day I shall be found just buried beneath a heaving heap of almost beautiful part sewn "things" that no one else will be able to identify.
So the idea was a blog... Instead of a scrap book, quicker, I thought. I will have to be accountable, there is a date function. I will be able to see my progress and that is sure to galvanise me into sewing action! But then, there is the risk that someone may actually find my blog and read it... Will they? Have you? I think there are so many blogs, that I am safe in my relative anonymity for now. If anyone does actually find me here in my quiet little corner of "blog world" I shall be amazed.
Here I will be posting progress reports of my sewing projects in various states of glorious completion - and NO MORE new starts. Well certainly no more new starts until I have a "finish" to celebrate at the very least.
....Although there is the skirt I started Monday, spending a whole day complicating it further with applique flowers on the pockets....
Oh dear. But no, discipline. I shall now go to my little cabin in the garden, take some pictures and somehow post them here. Am I sure a blog is a good idea? I'll spend sewing time posting! Well, there is only one way to find out.
